Where and from whom do you find your inspiration?
From the bizzare and absurd which includes most of humanity.

Customize a big wheel. Enter the artists soapbox derby. Learn Maya 3D. Make t-shirts. Get a sneaker deal. Get a show in Chelsea.

What is your philosophy of community?
Personally I do art programs for the local youth shelter, a mentoring program for highschool students and art therapy workshops for at risk youth. I think you have to give something back if you want the community to work better.

I used to think it meant something related to finances but now I would say success as an artist means creating new, exciting, ever-changing and relevant work. Pushing ideas and boundaries. Not the same tired thing over and over.

Ancient civilizations, cycles of nature, the ocean, plants, symbols, systems, mechanics, icons, and politics.

What is success to you?
“A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do.” - Bob Dylan.

What is your recipe for love?
Depends on what kind of love I guess. To love a woman it’s: 1 gallon Physical Attraction to get things started, 1 gallon emotional attraction to keep things in motion, 2 gallons sex, 1 gallon laughter and maybe a pinch of being able to not say something stupid to piss her off.

Art should be an honest reflection of where you are in life, art should be a conduit to channel your insecurities. Art should be raw and completely expressive of where you are in life.

Where and from whom do you find your inspiration?
Recently its been the journey of finding my identity, honing the idea of what responsibilities and duties that I need to fulfill, it's opened a whole universe of discoveries of my placement in this world. The relationship that I've had with my father, the intense and strange struggles that exist between us has been something I've been delving into as an inspiration to me in my design.
